About Me 

Josh Boynton, Hairdresser

Hi there!! My name is Josh, and I am a licensed cosmetologist located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I specialize in natural haircoloring, blonding, hair painting (balayage), vivid and vibrant colors. As well as pastels, metallics, and neon hair, I also love to do braids and editorial work on the side. I take all my pictures myself and market myself mainly through Instagram.

Being a hairdresser is something I never imagined for myself until a friend told me it was an art form in itself. Growing up I’ve always been an artist at heart. I love to paint, sculpt, make jewelry, crochet, all sorts of stuff. I decided to enroll in cosmetology school shortly after high school ended and here I am. I've been published in several beauty magazines including Modern Salon, Beautylaunchpad, Cosmopolitan, Sophisticates HairStyle Guide, and Salon Magazine UK. I am also an advocate and represent a company called Olaplex.

I love the beauty industry and am excited to continue to grow with it! :) If you have any questions about anything regarding hair, feel free to ask! I am an open book, and love to help people!
