About Me 

Josh Boynton, Hairdresser

I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of TN and I've been doing the hair thing for 3 years February 2019. I specialize in natural haircoloring, blonding, hair painting (balayage), vivid and vibrant colors. As well as pastels, metallics, and neon hair, I also love to do braids and editorial work on the side. I take all my pictures myself and market myself mainly through Instagram.

I've grown up in Smyrna, TN all my life. I have two brothers, one older named Jacob and one younger named Jonah. We all have names with the letter J, as well as our middle names that all begin with the letter A. I was born on December 12th and I am a Sagittarius. I was born with one huge kidney called a horseshoe kidney and the only tv I watch is American Horror Story.

Being a hairdresser is something I never imagined for myself until I met my husband Maliek. He was already enrolled in cosmetology school, and he recognized that I was a very artsy creative kind of person and he said it would be good for me. I went in and enrolled and here I am almost three years after graduating. I've been published in modern salon, beautylaunchpad, and am now an educator for Guy Tang Mydentity as well as an advocate member for Olaplex. I love the beauty industry and am excited to continue to grow with it! :)
